Work with Erin

Let’s get started!

You’re officially over the issues disorganization is causing in your life. You’re ready to hire someone who can help you tackle this organizing thing, and you’re thinking a professional organizer would be a good first step. You’ve also heard coaching can be really helpful for people with ADHD.

Do you need a coach? Or do you need an organizer? How do you figure out what’s going to help you the most? And how much is this going to cost? You’re in the right place!

How Working Together Works

The process:

Step 1 | Contact me.

You send up an emergency flare that you need organizing help stat by filling out the contact form. You can also call or text me if you’re a phone person.

Step 2 | Fill out the questionnaire.

Once you contact me, I’ll send you a questionnaire to fill out that will help you articulate your organizing issue(s).

Step 3 | Schedule your free 30-minute assessment.

After you have submitted the questionnaire, you’ll be prompted to schedule a free 30-minute assessment with me. This is where we discuss what you shared on your questionnaire, decide if we’re a good fit, and potentially make plans to move forward.

Step 4 | Schedule your first session.

If you decide to move forward, you’ll be prompted to schedule your first session for whatever service you’ve chosen. Based on our assessment conversation, you may send me photos of your space before our first session.

Services & Rates

In-Person Organizing

What it is | A one-on-one, hands-on, wear-pants-and-deodorant organizing session(s) in your space. For our first session, I’ll meet you at the space we discussed in your assessment armed with basic organizing supplies (trash bags, sticky notes, generic labels, etc.).

You and I will work together on organizing tasks like sorting, categorizing, deciding, putting together, moving, planning. At the end of the session, I will take anything you’ve decided can live without you and drop it off at the proper donation site or schedule a donation pick-up. If we’ve discussed and agreed on buying specific organizing products (like containers or shelving, for example), I’ll shop for them and bring them to our next session.

This might be a good option for you if:

  • You need or want help with the physically-demanding aspects of organizing your space (it can be a serious workout!)
  • You don’t want to mess with dropping off donations at multiple places
  • You like the idea of a body double to keep you motivated and focused
  • You are pretty sure you have basic organizing supplies but aren’t sure what or where they are.
1 session (3 hours) $270
2 sessions (6 hours) $505 (save $35)
4 sessions (12 hours) $960 (save $120)
6 sessions (18 hours) $1350 (save $180)

Includes:

  • minimum 3 hours per session, maximum 6 hours per day
  • 25-mile radius of 78748 zip code
  • basic organizing supplies (such as trash bags, sticky notes, generic labels)
  • removal of one carload of donations/consignment/recycling
  • scheduling the removal/recycling/shredding of paper, boxes, and/or donations (arrangements with 3rd party service providers will be made upon client approval & may require separate payment to vendor)
  • 60 minutes of shopping for any pre-determined organizing supplies
  • unlimited email support between sessions

Virtual Organizing

What it is | One-on-one virtual (deodorant: optional) organizing session(s) via Skype, Zoom, or Facetime. Virtual organizing means we’ll be working together through video chat to organize your space. Before our first session, we’ll go over exactly what equipment and supplies you’ll need, and if you feel like you need a tutorial, we can do that too! Our sessions will be focused on the space we’re working on and I’ll guide you through the organizing process during our 75 minutes together. You’ll be doing the physical work yourself, which means you’ll also be training your brain to learn and practice organizing skills.

Might be for you if:

  • You live outside of the Austin, TX area
  • You really want the learning experience of doing the organizing yourself
  • You have other obligations during regular business hours
  • You’re fairly comfortable with video chatting technology or are willing to give it a try
  • You’re not so comfortable with someone in your space
  • You’re ok with doing the potential moving/lifting/assembling of furniture that comes with organizing on your own or you already have help
  • Dropping off or scheduling for the removal of donations/recycling is no big deal
  • You have access to basic organizing supplies
75-minute session $75

Includes:

  • 75-minute guided organizing session
  • 30-minute setup tutorial
  • unlimited email support between sessions

Organizing Action Plan

What it is | A customized, step-by-step guide to organizing a specific space. Once we’ve had our initial assessment call, you can schedule your Action Plan Walk-through. The walk-through is your opportunity to show me exactly what is causing you distress. I may take measurements, pictures/video, and/or other notes to create a step-by-step action plan for you to implement at your leisure. Your action plan may include, but is not limited to: organizing how-to’s, product suggestions, donation resources, and/or whatever else meets your individual organizing needs.

Might be for you if:

  • You know you could get organized if you just had the steps laid out for you
  • You want to try and get organized on your own before committing to a full session
  • You want to implement the plan at your own pace
Organizing Action Plan (1-2 rooms) $300

Includes:

  • Customized, step-by-step guide in PDF format
  • 2 weeks of unlimited email support

Coaching

What it is | A conversation with the intention of creating positive change in your life. A coaching conversation can be in addition to an organizing session (in-person or virtual) or totally separate (by phone). You’ll bring a topic you would like to explore and, together, we’ll work toward action on that topic through creating awareness and learning.

During a coaching session, you are the expert. My role as a coach is to help you get clear on things like your goals, your habits, what you see as holding you back. When coaching is added to an organizing session, amazing break throughs can happen!

Might be for you if:

  • You want to focus less on your stuff and more on you
  • You want help thinking things through and/or clarifying ideas
  • You like the idea of creating positive change and are open to exploring how you learn, your strengths, needs, and values, etc.
  • You feel like you could benefit from accountability learning
75-minute session $75
5 sessions $360
8 sessions $560

Includes:

  • Access to recorded session
  • Session notes email after each session
  • Bi-weekly accountability check in
